Building sustainable energy infrastructure in Texas
Prospero 2, a $320 million project, covers more than 2,670 acres, and has two 15-year Power Purchase Agreements , one with DaVita Inc. and another with a subsidiary of Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc.
Propsero 2 will deliver more than $9 million to the state and local economy, including almost $6 million to the Andrews Independent School District.
This site represents approximately 380,000 metric tons of avoided CO2 emissions annually, the equivalent of taking approximately 91,000 gasoline-powered cars off the road for each year that the project is operating.
